Archaeology Online was founded in 2013 by three recent graduates of Trinity College in Dublin. The aim was to create an open access e-journal that served as a platform for students and graduates to have their work peer-reviewed and published. During the course of 2013 twelve research papers were featured on the site.
After a two-and-a-half year hiatus, during which time our editors were busy doing various things such as finishing Masters and PhDs, Archaeology Online has been resurrected in a new guise. In our new online archaeological magazine we will share monthly features on a variety of themes and topics while still promoting open access learning and including academic papers as and when they are submitted.
